This is a 1987 Inuit print of a tapestrycreated by husband and wife; Danny (Angujjat) Boychuk and Juliana Puulik Boychuk.
Juliana was born in 1956 in Repulse bay, at five years of age moved to Rankin Inlet. In 1972 Danny arrived in Rankin Inlet from Ont. ; the two met in 1975. In 1981 they moved to Yellowknife where they had a small business. Juliana has since passed on and leaves behind memories in the form of her art. The story of this artwork "fishing" is included with the purchase of the print. A very unique piece, must see to appreciate.
